Post by Louis Walles »

Title of the book: 'Replica'

Authors: Jack Heath
Genres: science fiction

Short summary of the story:
Chloe wakes up to find all her memories have been wiped. And the only person who knows what happened is a teenage girl who looks and sounds exactly like her. Who is she? And what does she want? Chloe is running out of time to discover the truth. But she's in even more danger than she realizes, and nothing is as it seems . . .
From the author.

Good points / bad points:
The first time I read this book was a couple of years ago, and I loved it. Since it was from my school library, I did not have a copy of the book at home, I couldn't re-read it. But then Christmas came and my mum decided to go through my old school lists (I used to write lists of books I took from the school library) and the title caught her eyes...and so she bought it! I read it quite quickly (it's not long as well, less than 200 pages). I am not a huge fan of science fiction but this book is rather original, funny, and definitely not boring. It is also pro LGBT as later in the book we find out that Chloe has a girlfriend.. Highly recommend you all to read it!
