This book is a sequel to the book, The One and Only Ivan. In the first book its all about a gorilla named Ivan, but in this one it is about a dog named Bob. Bob was indeed in the first book and is Ivans best friend and was a stray. But in the sequel he has found a home and Ivan and some of their other animal friends have moved to a sanctuary. The book explains Bobs new life as a pet, but something drastic happens and Bob finds out about a lot of things and has to be the hero even though he doesn't want to be.
(Because it is the sequel to The One and Only Ivan, I recommend you read that first before reading The One and Only Bob)

Such a good book and has a very good ending which is really important to be because I hate sad endings, it will make you laugh and is like a humans tale, but through animals. It is not my usual genre that I read so thats why I gave it a 9, but we all have different opinions so other then that 10/10 and I 100% recommend!
