Title of the book: A Time to Dance
Authors: Padma Venkatraman
Genres: Young Adult Fiction
This story follows a young dancer named Veda, who loses part of her leg due to an accident, and her recovery and surmounting the new challenges life presents after the accident.
The writing style is very easy to read. I liked the book, even though the writing style could be too simplistic for some. This story is inspiring and it shows us what resilience and courage can achieve. It also demonstrates how far support of your family, friends, and others can help you, to achieve what others may believe to be impossible. It also shows how people can change after a tragic event. And, how cruel some people can be when they perceive that someone is different to them.
