Title of the book: The Hidden Oracle
Author: Rick Riordan
Series: The Trials of Apollo
Genres: Young Adult/Middle Grade

The god Apollo is turned human after angering his father, Zeus, and cast down to Earth as a mortal. He must undergo a series of trials as a human before he is allowed to become a god again, and must survive without his godly powers. In the meantime, one of his most dangerous foes has returned, and there are many plans afoot to get him killed.

This book contains Riordan's signature wit and comedic genius that has enthralled many audiences before and takes place within the same world as his famous Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. I really enjoyed that in lieu of chapter titles, Riordan had instead placed a haiku that I could definitely imagine Apollo writing. The only bad points for me had to do with how quickly I got invested in the story, as I haven't read in a while and was a little out of practice. I also read this book before finishing the Heroes of Olympus series's last book, The Blood of Olympus, and had a couple things from that book's ending spoiled for me.
