Book Review - The Name Drop

Post by Viviana Kingston »

Title: The Name Drop
Author: Susan Lee
Genre: romance
Rating: 4/5
Category: traditional publishing
Age rating: 13+
Warnings: none
Synopsis:
When Jessica Lee and Elijah Ri arrive in Korea, they're expecting totally different things than what they receive. Elijah was supposed to be in training, preparing to become an executive one day and Jessica was supposed to be interning at Haneul Corporation, but their lives were swopped the moment they stepped out of the airport, all because they share the same Korean name!

Comments + opinion:
It was like watching a movie unfold underneath the pages. I grew up with movies like the Princess and the Pauper, Monte Carlo, The Princess and the Rockstar, and I can say that have the exactly same vibes which was just amazing. Though the book lost me a bit in the end. I felt the ending was a bit flat and rushed, but otherwise, thumbs up if you're looking for a book with switched identities, a dash of romance and girl empowerment.
