Book Review: Tales of the Peculiar

Post by Katelin Ross »

Book Title- Tales of the Peculiar
Author: Ransom Riggs
Genre: Fantasy, Fiction
Series: NA

Tales of the Peculiar by Ransom Riggs has several short stories about different historical peculiars. When I read it I thought of it as the bedtime type stories that peculiar parents would read to their children, a fairy tale of sorts. If you have read Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children and the books that follow, you will recognize some of the stories written. This can be a stand alone book, but it would make more sense if you have read the series stated above. I would recommend this book to anyone, especially if you have read the Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children books.
