Halloween Party: Bookish Pumpkins

What would a Halloween party be without some suitably spooky decorations?

I’ve managed to wangle a huge pile of pumpkins out of the house elves and I thought we should do a spot of carving.

To earn 20 beans, we’d love you to present your idea for a book-inspired jack-o’-lantern design. It could feature a character, a symbol or even an entire scene (if you’re feeling ambitious) - it can be anything you like, providing it takes some inspiration from a book or story and is HOL appropriate.

You could carve your design into an actual pumpkin and take a photo, cut out a paper template and show us that, create a digital graphic or describe it in at least 80 words (if you’re struggling to reach the wordcount, why not describe 2 designs?) If you decide to do a digital graphic or a description, try to remember to create something that someone could realistically carve into a pumpkin.

Remember to keep the size of your graphic to 600x600 or less.

Post your pumpkin below by 31st October at 11:59 PM HOL-time!

This pumpkin has been inspired by the old tradition mentioned in the Chapter 5 and the flowers handed to the people.
