It's October, when thoughts stray to spooky things...

You are cordially invited to the Book Clubs very own Halloween party! The ghoulish festivities begin on 15 October and last until the 31st.

The main event is a group read-along of Neil Gaiman’s hauntingly beautiful ‘The Graveyard Book’*. Make sure you get your hands on a copy in the next few weeks so you can join us!

There will also be puzzles, pumpkin carving and we’ll be encouraging all of you to get into the spirit with some spooky reading so we can fill the shelves with suitably spine-tingling reviews.

*Note: The Graveyard Book has been specifically designed to be appropriate for younger readers (as well as thrilling for older ones) but there are still some pretty scary passages. It also features frank discussions about death.
