Back in 2016, Amy Lupin introduced an activity called Quick Quotes with these words:
For the next few months or so, we'll be running "Quick Quotes", which is based on the game Bring Your Own Book. We'll be posting a new prompt each week, and you'll then be tasked to grab any book you have on hand and have a flip through it to find a suitable quote and post below.
People participated in it through September 2018, coming up with most marvelous quotes for the given prompts! Now we start it again, and watch the fun begin. :)

Someone of Book Club will post a prompt each week. We'll be giving out 10 Beans per quote.

Our first prompt for Quick Quotes Round Two is:

Useful Advice for Adventurers

from Demigods & Magicians: Percy and Annabeth meet the Kanes by Rick Riordan
Given the chance, monsters almost always attacked.

Post your quotes for the prompt below. Please be sure to make sure that the quotes you post (and the books they come from) are HOL-appropriate. Thank you.

If you have any suggestions for prompts, please send us an email at hol.bookclub @ gmail.com (removing the spaces) with the subject "Quick Quotes Suggestions".

Remember to click "Subscribe Topic" above if you would like to get notified of new prompts.
