Your Favorite Pie

They have another post about favorite cakes, so being more of a pie person I figured it should get equal attention. It’s hard for me to pick a favorite pie, but one top contender would be a peach pie. Another would be a chess pie, which is basically a kicked up custard pie. Great, now I need to go make a pie

Oh I'm a big fan of apple pie and peach pie! Honestly, as long as there are no cherries, I'll try any pie. I prefer pies over cakes, but my family does not so when we do get pies, it's either pumpkin pie or apple pie haha.

Does Shepard’s Pie count?

I’m definitely a savory vs. sweet person with many things, so things like a good Tourtière or Pot Pie are right up my alley.

For sweet:

My aunt always used to make a cheesecake when we’d have people over for the holidays. The one in a graham cracker crust that’s filled with a chilled mixture of what’s predominantly cream cheese and sour cream with vanilla and sugar, etc.

Secondarily I’d say anything that includes Peanut Butter, or Strawberry Rhubarb pie (especially with vanilla ice cream) are *chefs kiss*

All pies! I love pies! Every pie! I do have to say I love savory things a lot but having some yummy filling sweet or savory in that lovely buttery pie melts my heart! I don't thing I have a favourite, but I have only tasted a handful of pies as they are pricy to buy and make. My dream is to try pumpkin, apple and cherry pies as we mostly have savory and meaty flavours here.

I love pies and tarts, just fill them in with anything. I love cheesecakes as well. My favorites would be pecan pies and coconut pies and tarts.

I'm also more of a savory person, so my answer to this would definitely be karjalanpiirakka, or Karelian pies. They're made from wheat or rye flour and filled with rice or potato filling. I also love it when people add vegetables. Then it's covered with a mix of butter and chopped boiled eggs. So yummy!

When sweet tooth grabs me, I love some American Apple Pie. I've got a friend who makes a lovely version of it, it even has that dough dome and everything!

I am not a pie person, but I totally love meat pies. I tried apple pie once and I did not like the crust. I don't like pumpkin pies either. But I like blueberries. I like blueberry pies and blueberry cheesecake.

I love pies. In my case, I love lemon pie. It's very sweet and sour at the same time, if it's properly prepared. My grandma used to cook one once a month and she made the most delicious I have ever tried.

Unpopular opinion: but I don’t like most pies. The only pie I like and will eat is banana cream pie.

I don't know if tarts can also work, but I am OBSESSED WITH THE LEMON TART. It can be kinda sour, but it's just so addicting, and the lemon is also pretty sweet. Many people also add meringue on top, and personally, it makes it even better, it adds extra sweetness and smoothness!
