Oh, this was for the Ravenclaw Door Knocker, which I have been meaning to solve for a while now.
Once upon a time there were five wizards, each lived in a different house of a different color. Each wizard was originally from a different country and was very well renowned for their magical powers in their homelands. All the wizards were proud of their wands and often argued which wizard's wand wood was best (they all had different kinds and thought theirs was superior to the others). Each wizard had a different drink they enjoyed along with a pet. (None of the wizards had the same pet either)
Who owns the Ramora?
Clues:
The British wizard lives in the red house
The Swedish wizard keeps crups as pets
The Danish wizard drinks tea
The green house is on the left of the white house
The green house's owner drinks firewhiskey
The wizard who has the pine wand rears a phoenix
The owner of the yellow house has a willow wand
The wizard living in the center house drinks pumpkin juice
The Norwegian wizard lives in the first house
The wizard who has the black walnut wand lives next to the one who keeps kneazles
The wizard who keeps hippogriffs lives next to the wizard who has the willow wand
The owner of the beech wand drinks butter beer
The German wizard has the pear wand
The Norwegian wizard lives next to the blue house
The wizard who has the black walnut wand has a neighbor who drinks gillywater
The Eagles are coming! "A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one."
You might belong in Gryffindor,
Where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve, and chivalry
Set Gryffindors apart;
You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true
And unafraid of toil;
Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,
if you've a ready mind,
Where those of wit and learning,
Will always find their kind;
Or perhaps in Slytherin
You'll make your real friends,
Those cunning folks use any means
To achieve their ends.

Tarma, I was curious what you were going to do with those lyrics
Someone was asking me my idea of the folks of the different Houses and I responded that it was first formed with that first song of the Sorting Hat, and copied the applicable verses to show her.

It's sad that I've done Ctrl+c on my own name since it's so short but in my defence it was bright green on the Slytherin forum and I couldn't be bothered to change the colours every time I needed to sign my name to say I'd done some editing for the SerpenTimes! Lazy Max!
Backstory is needed before the words. The last thing that I ctrl + c on my laptop was when I was putting together lyric slides for chapel service at college. (a new person is assigned every week and I happened to be the one for this last week). I tend to look at a website to figure out the words and just copy from there to a power point. So these were those lyrics:
One of the book challenges from the book club board. I copied it and pasted it in Word so I could remember it
"10 non-fiction books
10 classics - they don't have to be "old", I just finished "To Kill a Mockingbird"
Anything Stephen King or Jim Butcher
Finish reading Lee Child's books. I always choose 1 author each year to focus on.
Anything else that seems appealing."
I don't know if I'm allowed to post links here so I won't, but there was a link that I sent to my friend. We play a game together and sometimes it allowes you to send a link to another person who also plays the game so thart they can get a little bonus.
Bumping this thread because the replies always interest me - gives a proper insight into the lives of the people behind the keyboards. So.... my CTRL +V is....

This is the place in Ireland, just outside Dublin where my good friend Katie is meeting me off a bus in a few days time.
Hmm considering how busy my last couple days have been, all I've really been up to on the computer is tracking beans for the Off to School activity so:
