HOL

I read in the handbook that I am allowed to take 5 classes at a time. As a first year, are there any classes that are required for me to take or do I pick and choose 5 classes?

First years should all take HOL 101 (with me) as that's the official orientation class and teaches you all about the various parts of HOL. Aside from that, there are no mandatory classes for first years. Very rarely, classes will have requirements for joining (like taking the intro class before the advanced one).

Thank you for your quick reply. I can't wait to get started! Does HOL 101 count towards the 5 classes that I can take or do I take 5 classes plus HOL 101?
