HOL Hogsmeade

Hi everyone,

Dario and I are still hard at work bringing a number of core features to HOL, so we'll only be able to start working on other areas like Hogsmeade early next year.

In the meantime though, we'd love to hear from you how you envision Hogsmeade working at HOL. It's important to us that we deliver a magical experience for the HOL community to enjoy. For those new to HOL, prior to the website redesign, Hogsmeade primarily had various shops where you were able to get a wand of your own and buy some other wonderful items using your hard-earned beans.

What would you like to see with Hogsmeade? Are there any items you would like to be included? Would you like to be able to interact more with items (beyond buying, selling and trading them)? Are there any experiences you're hoping for beyond browsing the shops themselves?

We'll go through each of your suggestions and determine whether or not they're feasible. Some of these might be incorporated into the initial release of Hogsmeade, whereas others might have to wait until further down the line. Even if we're not able to implement your suggestions or ideas exactly how you envision them, Dario and I will discuss ways we can achieve them within the constraints we have to work. That being said, just because you suggest something, it doesn't necessarily mean we'll be able to add it, so please don't be disappointed: there are a lot of factors at work.
