The Pets demo came out already. I haven't tried it, and I think I won't. I will just wait for the full version. Have anyone here tried it?

I'm really looking forward to Pets, one of my favourite expansions from Sims 2. I hope they do a Seasons.

Only downside is my monitor blew up a few weeks ago and I can't afford a new one so I won't be playing Pets for a while.

Me too me too! I really hope they do some kind of Seasons pack. The Sims 2 Seasons pack is pretty cool, I like the different actions in each season.

And :o I hope you get a new monitor as soon as you can, Ashlee.

Me too!! Seasons was probably one of my favorite EPs from Sims 2.

Like a real one in here, we can play with the snow in winter, clean up the fall leaves in autumn, and even get stuck by hail. Sims automatically change their clothes when they get outside the house. That's what I can remember from Seasons, I don't have it anymore though..

I have Pets expansion, Ariella. Must say I am disappointed, dogs have way too less options to play with.

I also own Generations, this is my favourite expansion. I like playing jokes and having water-slides. Recently got Ambitions and am not disappointed. I like the laundry part. I was staring at my male sim, he changed clothes and got in the bed, the dirty clothes he dropped on floor and I was like: "Why you can't move few meters to right and put them in the basket, you pig?!" His wife had to clean everything up, she is non-stop cleaning. <_<

I am thinking of getting World Adventures but not Late Night. If someone has Late Night, is it really worth it? I looked through the possibilities it offers, doesn't attract me at all.

It depends alot on how you like to play. If you really like doing urban living, and a real night life, then it's good. I did find myself getting frustrated with trying to find the 'hotspots' though. If you really alot more about raising a family and doing legacy type play, then it probably doesn't offer as much for you. if you can get a good deal on it, I would say get it just so you could add a bar and nightclub to a town, and maybe apartments for some extra things to to do. But if you can't get a good deal, and you don't care for urban play and more focused on single sims, then I wouldn't gt it actually.

I didn't like the Sims 3 much, but I'm going to give it a shot again. I'll always love the Sims 2 the best :)

I have to admit that even though I've been a Sims fan since... forever, I haven't been indulging in a lot of The Sims 3. Sure, I have the game, plus Ambitions, Pets, etc., but... It's just not appealing to me. I'll get the hankering to control my virtual friend(s) every so often, but that's just about it.

I have to admit, I did play a lot of The Sims 2. I'm not sure why I can't get into The Sims 3.

Maybe it will change once they decide to release a Seasons expansion~ I did enjoy that about The Sims 2. :)

Even though I would definitely love to see Seasons as one of the EPs, I am anxiously awaiting Showtime. I actually enjoy Sims 3 quite a bit. Granted, there are elements (such as seasons) that I liked better about Sims 2, and I miss having the 'chance' cards for careers, but overall I am pleased with it.

I love the Sims 3, so far it has been one of my favorite PC/Mac games. I do get a bit irritated when playing on Mac where my custom hair shows up as a bald glitch and it is almost impossible to get rid of. What can I say? I really hate Maxis hair. I'm pretty excited for the new 'Supernatural' EP coming out in October or November. I'll be preordering the new EP to get some fun extras.

Well I also don't enjoy Maxis' hair, pretty much download custom hairs for my sims.

I think Supernatural has been coming out? *goes to check her email* Yeah it was out last September 5th. I'm not really excited with Supernatural though. I'm looking for the Seasons, but so far after I saw the trailer, I don't know I don't feel it'd be an awesome like Sims 2 had..

I took a pass on Supernatural; just not my thing, I guess. I will give Seasons a try though. It was one of my favorite things about Sims 2.

Maxis hair to me just looks very off, so I download a ton of custom hair. I also download some mods but sometimes after an update it can glitch. I've had to go through massive reconstruction by pulling out one mod at a time to figure out which one is making the game throw a tantrum. I think the only mod I use now are the slider mods which give the sims a more realistic look.

I ended up realizing it came out the day Risa said and I bought it a couple of days ago. It isn't bad. I like the supernatural races and how they are incorporated. They've added I think a new profession which is a Fortune Teller (Not sure if this was already there but it was new to me). The only negative thing I have about the game is the zombies. The zombies constantly rise from my Sim's property and start chomping at trees. (Yes trees) They really need to make an item that, I don't know, defends the house against zombies or at least make your sim capable of offensive spells. Ohh maybe they should have a professional zombie control (like an exterminator) profession...now that would be cool.

You do know, Alice, that now you are making me want to go get Supernatural, if nothing else but to see the zombies chomp on trees :P Do any of you do the 'stuff packs' as well as the EPs?

It's not only trees. Hedges, Plants, and basically anything that is of the greenery sort yep the zombies munch on them. XD I have both EPs and Stuff packs. The stuff packs are pretty nice, depending on which one you get. I'm only missing three of them.
