When I joined HOL, I chose the name Polaris Black. My RL surname is a derivative of Black and since most Black family members are named after stars or constellations, I chose Polaris because it was unique to several websites and services.

Since we're not allowed to have dragons, the most sensible pet for me would be a Fire Crab; its jeweled shell is simply gorgeous, it is very quiet, and it would not be too much of a fire hazard once licensed!
