End of Term!

So, how did you do? Would have change anything?

For me, I kept my streak as a professor taking classes going this term, with not completing a class. lol It's ok though, there is always next year.

Re: Summer Olympics 2020/1

It looks like the Olympics are gonna happen and I am beyond excited for gymnastics and diving! My favorite beach volleyball person, Kerri Lee Walsh Jennings, didn't make it this time and I was so disappointed.

I like the opening ceremonies as well. I love seeing all the countries!

Re: Sims 4 & Expansions + Mods

I have played all the Sims game and love how the game has evolved throughout the years. Did you see the latest Sims 4 game pack, Dream Home Decorator? It is a dream pack for those who love to create houses and love the interior decorator aspect of the game. It brings in sectionals!! lol Its the weir...

Re: Homeworks and Beyond!

we're heading into the home stretch of the year and you can definitely tell homeworks come in a bit slower now, but I highly encourage everyone to stick with it, because come September you will be all excited about a new term and you'll really wished you did well at the end of this one!! YOU CAN DO ...

Re: Audio Book Narrators

I know, old topic, but I am happy to bump it. I have been listening to audio books a lot lately and have really enjoyed them. That said, like Gail and Sky it really depends on the the person "reading" the story. Until audio books I never gave it much thought, but just listening to an author reading ...

Space the Final Frontier

Are there any Star Trek fans out there? Neville and I have always considered ourselves to be passive Star Trek fans, but when quarantine hit we decided to dive deep into the show. We had both already watched the original series years ago, so we decided to start with The Next Generation. (love that s...

Baseball Season

We are a month into the new baseball season. Do you typically watch throughout the season, or do you just like watching the World Series? Do you have a favorite team? I tend to follow a little bit throughout the season, and see who gets to the World Series. Teams I typically follow are the Oakland A...

Book Fair/Book Sales

Our local library is doing it's biannual book sale this week and it got me thinking, who else loves going to these? The books at my sale were anywhere from $0.50 to $1 each and such a huge selection, and not just out of date books. We also have a book fair that goes on for about six weeks, then clos...

Re: Buying Habits

I definitely love to read actual books, rather than ebooks. I do own a few eboks, but I prefer real books, paperback or hardback. If I buy a book and I don't enjoy it, I either donate it to the library or resell. I do keep all the books I have truly enjoyed, because I know me, and I will definitely ...

We're halfway through Spring term, how are your classes going so far? Still going as strong as September? Finding it harder to make time for HOL?

Re: Comfort Watching

We are currently re-watching Modern Family . I love this show and how funny it is. We also just finished series 10 of Doctor Who , which we are behind on this show due to not cable, but luckily we found a library in our area that has dvds up to the latest season, so we're going to return what we hav...

I am really excited to see the new Cruella movie. The preview looks amazing. I was pleasantly surprised with how Aladdin came out, because I was really worried I wouldn't like Will Smith as the genie.

Re: New Year, New Classes!

Muggle Studies Pop Culture:the 80's So much fun! Whether or not you remember this decade when it actually happened, it's a wonderful time to revisit. I've watched or rewatched some very good movies for this class: ET, The Karate Kid, and coming up, The Princess Bride. Who says homework isn't fun? :...
