When I need some comfort or a general mood shift, I will usually turn to music. Singing softly, loudly or completely off key will help shift my mood for the better. Reading a book will also help me escape my troubles for a few hours if I have the time available.

I live in Texas, about an hour from the coast. I have to say, I might have the good ol' Texas pride but the weather here is just outrageous sometimes. One day we need shorts, one day we need pants, the next day we need both pants and shorts. :p
