Classics - v. 2

Last spring I asked a question about classics, and now I am once again feeling inspired (after having read one of my favourite classics once more: Macbeth) to ask your opinions an another aspect of classics. Which piece of classical litterature is your favourite, and why is it? What makes it special...

A Hogwarts Education

I've often seen it discussed whether or not wizarding children would have to have schooling before Hogwarts in order to be able to actually complete the tasks asked of them there: Read and write being of course chief among the absolute needs, but also maths being needed at least if anyone wanted to ...

Re: Vegans/Vegetarians Unite!

I don't have the recipe for that exactly, but if you are interested in some recipes made by Shiloh, you can find them on Alte under the column of "Whispy Quiddy Concoctions"
They're all raw vegan and what I've tried of them is quite delicious.

Crafting

I love creating things; back in the day it used to be bead-embroidery and drawing, now I'm doing cross stitch, knitting and needle-binding much more. I've knitted a scarf, which is probably the most impressive thing I've knitted and I've made hats and gloves with needle-binding and I am trying to ma...

But it made me think, which is actually the best piece of advice I've ever gotten from a book...

Books for Christmas

Every year I read the same book at Christmas -which for me is today, the 24th, so merry christmas everyone, I'll be reading this today! It's A Christmas Legend by Selma Lagerlöf, a Swedish author. It's about five pages long without illustrations, but there are a fair few in there and I find they add...
