Located on the west side of Hogwarts, Ravenclaw Tower holds the Ravenclaw common room and dormitories. The entrance to the tower is at the top of a spiral staircase. The door there is without doorknob or keyhole, yet with a bronze knocker in the shape of an eagle. In order to enter the room you must first answer a question asked by the eagle knocker; if you answer incorrectly, you will not be admitted. The Ravenclaw common room is a wide, airy, circular room with a midnight blue carpet, arched windows hung with blue and bronze silks, and a domed ceiling painted with stars. The room has numerous tables, chairs and bookcases, in addition to a tall statue of Rowena Ravenclaw made of white marble standing next to the door leading up to the dormitories.

Ravenclaw Common Room
- The place for all Eagles to come and ... well, Roost. :) New students are encouraged to post in the Adopt-An-Eaglet board; House members can meet and greet and get involved in the various clubs and activities; and visitors are always welcome!
