Sila can be pronounced as:
Si (as if you say "yes" in Spanish)
la (as in laugh)
Actually it is an "i" without a dot, but that is not common in most languages, so feel free to pronounce it as "si"

My first name is Elvish (Quenya to be exact) and means water spirit:
fëa = spirit - I would pronounce this bit like fey-a.
nen = water - This part is simpler, just nen as it's written.
Ashling was a name I used in a story based on the Irish name Aisling, meaning dream or vision.

Ianto is a variant or nickname of Ieuan (YIGH-yan), the Welsh version of John, meaning "god is gracious." It is pronounced YAN-toh.
That's "yan" as in man and "toh" as is, well, toe. Though I have heard "yahn" as in yawn, mostly from Americans. This is mostly due to a difference in accents and is also acceptable.
Maddock is a modernized variant of the old Welsh name Madoc, meaning "good." Both names are pronounced MAH-dock.

It takes a really sane person to think insanely.
If an insane person thinks insane they are crazy. If an sane person thinks insanely it's art. It that insane or what?
What am I?
To save myself from an insane argument, I consider myself completely sane.
As far as you know.
Get to know me Pimly Evans, 1st Year, Gryffindor House

This forum is really helpful for some of these names! They're all really creative and now I know how to say them!
My first name is pretty simple. Elliya is EL-ee-yuh (similar to Elliot but with an A at the end).
My last name is French, so it is pronounced BEAR-trahn. The R's are the French back-of-the-throat kind of R's, and the D at the end is not pronounced.
