Cloud Atlas is more SciFi and Night Circus is fantasy, but they're both amazing. My top two favorite books that aren't part of a series!

Throne of Glass by Sarah Maas. It's the first book of the THrone of Glass Series. The second book is already out and there are novellas several novellas before and between the books. It's an amazing story.

If anyone here is a sucker for a modern tragic romance like me, I would really recommend reading "The Fault In Our Stars" by John Green.

I like all the books by Rick Riordan, Terry Pratchet, and Eoin Colfer, which are all in the Fantasy Genre.

I like all the books by Lillian Jackson-Braun and Agatha Christie, which are in the Crime Genre.

I like all the books by Douglas Adams, Roger Zelasny and Robert Rankin, which are in the Sci Fi Genre.

But these are just a few of my books, I am an avid bookworm and my friends say I live in a library, but what's wrong with that?

Also keep posting suggestions as I reading your suggestions just makes me realise how many authors there are that I can fall in love with, now which ones can I put on my birthday wish list.

I have enjoyed most of the new books I have tried out this year.

If you like crime thrillers "The Teacher" and "The Secret" by Katerina Diamond are great! I wasn't able to put them down because it moved so quickly.
If you like regular crime novels I suggest James Patterson books.
If you like steampunk I recommend the "Souless" series by Gail Carringer.
If you like fantasy I recommend "The Last Apprentice" by Joesph Delaney.

Well, I have to confess, I Did NOT read everyone's suggestions for reading.... so if someone said the Da Vinci Code series, before now.... then I apologize for the Echo.....
I really enjoy the series and yes , I am one of those people who have to look up facts... to make sure they're true..... hahaha I laugh typing this because I know some of YOU out there, do the same thing.....

Shadowhunters are the first book I recommend you to read which is really amazing. Plus, I recommend you to read The magicians by Lev Grossman and Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton which in my opinion are so much wonderful to people who love detective and fantasy novels.

If you're looking for adventure type stuff, Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series 100%. They're amazing. Lord of the Rings is also a must in my opinion. They're great adventure, but The Fellowship of the Ring might take awhile to really get into. Classics like Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, The Count of Monte Cristo, etc. may not always seem worth it, but I promise they are (ESPECIALLY The Count of Monte Cristo. It's phenomenal). Well, I guess I can't make that promise because everyone is different, but I loved them a lot. I also loved the Twilight series, but Breaking Dawn gets pretty graphic, so... read with caution. Last suggestion (although I could probably go on for awhile), The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. It is AMAZING. Hands down one of the best books I've ever read. But again, this is all my opinion. I hope, whoever you are, you consider them!

My book suggestion is honestly anything by Natasha Preston. If you like books that are extremely suspenseful then you would definitely love her. My favorite book by her is "The Cellar", it was my first read from her and I read the whole book in one sitting.

The Last Smile in Sunder City by Luke Arnold — Google Books: A former soldier turned PI tries to help the fantasy creatures whose lives he ruined in a world that's lost its magic. It's urban fantasy. I love how the characters have been created and the sequel is going to be released this month!
Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson — Wikipedia: An adventure novel narrating a tale of "buccaneers and buried gold." This is a classic and one I've loved since I was a little kid.
Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini — Wikipedia: It tells the story of Amir, a young boy from the Wazir Akbar Khan district of Kabul, whose closest friend is Hassan. The story is set against a backdrop of tumultuous events, from the fall of Afghanistan's monarchy through the Soviet military intervention, the exodus of refugees to Pakistan and the United States, and the rise of the Taliban regime. I read this for school, didn't think much of it at first. Reading it was truly an experience worth taking.
They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera — Wikipedia: It focuses on two teenage boys, Mateo and Rufus, who discover that they only have one day left to live. If you want to sob uncontrollably on your bed at 3 am, read this.

I definitely suggest reading the Divergent series if you are into Dystopian SiFi. It has a super thought out plot and never bores you.

One of my favorite authors is Angie Thomas, she writes Realistic Fiction. She has written The Hate You Give and On the Come Up. The Hate You Give is about how a girl named Starr faces police brutality and fights against it, On the Come Up is about how a young girl becomes a rapper after facing many people telling her not to.

I honestly don't read much but my two favorite books are, Under the Dome by Stephen King (the show is amazing as well) and The Giver by Lois Lowry. So I would definitely recommend those two books to someone who has an interest in dystopian style literature.
