I recently just finished reading a Janet Evanovich book. She writes a series about a female bounty hunter called Stephanie Plum. She currently has 12 books and just released a book called "Plum Lovin" which is a "in between numbers novel". It was a good, short read. These books are light hearted and humourous and they are very easy to read which is what I like. Right now I received a few books from a book club I am apart of and I am reading The Devil Wears Prada. I became interested after seeing the movie.

Whew, I start so many books. But, I'll just say one!!! Currently, I'm reading Eragon. I REALLY like it. The movie actually sparked my interest. I definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone. (Who haven't read it of course!)

I'm currently reading I Am Charlotte Simmons by Tom Wolfe. It's about an extremely intelligent girl from the mountains of North Carolina attending Dupont University. It's very indepth. It's similar to the book Prep by Curtis Sittenfeld.
Emily, Eragon is a very good book! The movie was good, but not as good as the book. I hope you thoroughly enjoy it.

I've just finished reading the sequel of Power of One by Bryce Courtnay which is Tandia.
Not bad either. Haven't exposed myself to that style of writing in a long while so it was interesting to compare it to what I'm used to reading now.

Right now I am reading a novel by James Fenimore Cooper. It is one of the Leatherstocking Tales. It is "The Last of the Mohicans". I am reading this book for two reasons:
1. Cause I wanted to see what differences there were in the film and the book.
2. It is part of my long research essay for my english 251 class.

I am reading Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte.
Children of Hurin by J.R.R Tolkien.
And as soon as I finish Bronte's book I will be reading:
The Hound of Baskerville by Sir A. Conan Doyle.
All of these I am reading for fun!

I'm reading a series called, Left Behind >The Kids<. I love these books, they're a bit smaller than my usual reading, but they're good.
And Mairead, have you read Where the Red Fern Grows? Or I like Pride and Prejudice, it's really good too.
