Re: Favorite Songs
I always go "Oh that's one of my favorite songs!" whenever I hear a song that I really like. But my all time favorite song is and forever will be Cemetery Drive by My Chemical Romance.

Re: Favorite Songs
One of my current obsession songs is called "Call Your Mom" by Noah Kahan. The vocals and the instruments just blend together so smoothly and it is just such a beautiful song. It dives into what its like when you have someone in your life who is dealing with those dark thoughts and what you would do for them. My close second is for sure "Work Song" by Hozier, I mean do I really have to explain much more!

Re: Favorite Songs
I never know how I'm supposed to rate all of the songs I listen to but I love Marian by Sisters of Mercy, Blasphemous Rumors by Depeche Mode, Rachael and Little Stars by she wants revenge and argh its hard to not just write down every song on my playlist to be honest. I love cemeteries as well, especially sodus or can you hear them sing.
Two very different artists with songs I really like are Tamino and deftones (very very different genres but hey, who says I can't like more than one genre)

Phoenix by Cailin Russo, Chrissy Costanza, and League of Legends
So are you gonna die today or make it out alive?
You gotta conquer the monster in your head and then you'll fly
Fly, phoenix, fly
It's time for a new empire
Go bury your demons then tear down the ceiling
Phoenix, fly

Re: Favorite Songs
I absolutely LOVE Walk Unafraid by R.E.M. It's practically my motto. We all mess up, stumble, and fall sometimes, be we have to do these things to learn and to improve and to get better at living life.
This is the first verse. All credit to R.E,M., of course:
As the sun comes up, as the moon goes down
These heavy notions creep around
It makes me think, long ago
I was brought into this life a little lamb
A little lamb
Courageous, stumbling
Fearless was my middle name
But somewhere there I lost my way
Everyone walks the same
Expecting me to step
The narrow path they've laid
They claim to
Walk unafraid
I'll be clumsy instead
Hold me love me or leave me high
For me, R.E,M. is balm for the soul

Re: Favorite Songs
My current favorite songs would have to be "DEATH" by Melanie Martinez or basically ANY song by The Strokes. I love that band so much, haha.

Re: Favorite Songs
I love how there are so many of people's favourite songs here. Also, I admire those of you who are able to name favourites so clearly. For me, it's very hard to say which songs are my absolute favourites, because it depends on my mood very much. There are still some "eternal favourites" out there, though - like these:
- Toto: Stop Loving You
- Peter Cetera: Glory Of Love
- Lady Gaga: Bad Romance
- Santiano: The Fiddler On The Deck
- Metallica: Nothing Else Matters
- Azrael: Love's Lost In Time
- Tide Lines: Far Side Of The World
- Reo Speedwagon: Take It On The Run
- The Bangles: Going Down To Liverpool
- Ten Sharp: Ain't My Beating Heart

Re: Favorite Songs
As everyone else in this post, I find it difficult to choose only one song and my preferences fluctuate a lot based on my mood - but here are ten songs that are part of my current favourites!
Do note that some of these songs may deal with sensitive topics and/or have some language that is not PG-13. I will tag these songs in red - do not listen to them if the disclaimer above puts you off!
1. Skillet - I Want To Live
2. Papa Roach - Face Everything And Rise
3. NateWantsToBattle - Delete Me
4. Dynazty - Waterfall
5. Rave The Reqviem - Skydweller
6. SadSongsOnly - House Of Wolves (this song is originally by My Chemical Romance, but I prefer this version)
7. 10 Years - The Shift
8. The Qemists - Let It Burn
9. Livingston - Shadow
10. Citizen Zero - Face To Face (language in this song is fine, but the song alludes to depression)

Re: Favorite Songs
My favourite song also changes all the time, but right now I'm really enjoying Orange Juice by Noah Kahan. It's really lovely to sing along to and has a lot of depth to it which I really love.
