So the other day someone mentioned to me how awesome it would be to have a Disney World dedicated only to the villains. The castle(s) could be that of the likes of Maleficent's. Mind that I have ever been to a Disney world so would know much about what is currently available. But! This made me think which Disney Villains are out there and which of them would I consider to be my favorites?
I love Hades. I think that is some good villainy right there. He is fun, funny, and an overall cool character in my books. Do you have one or more villains that you find to like or to even be your favorite? Would you attend a villains only Disney Land to see your favorite? What about the characters do you like most?

Re: Which Disney Villain is your favorite?
There is no doubt in my mind that Maleficent is my favorite Disney villain. My choice may have been influenced by the fact that other Disney villains do not really feature as a protagonist in a separate movie where their backstory is unravelled and their villainous character justified. But, I identified with Maleficent on a deeper level, and found her very relatable. She was only as much of a villain as Elsa was when she unknowingly plunged her kingdom into an eternal winter in Frozen. Even before I had watched the movie featuring Maleficent with her backstory (which was released when I went to college and was around 19-20 years old), I had already guessed that she must have been through some trauma that justified her actions and I also thought that it was rude not to invite her to Aurora's christening, just by reading Sleeping Beauty for the first time (which was when I was literally a child, say 7-8 years old).

I'll throw my vote in for Hades. I really love the dramatic villains and there's no more dramatic than him. I also frequently use him for reaction GIFs.
Hades just has that style, charisma, and the air of fun about him. Plus, I really love just how chaotic he can be. I think for me Hades is compelling because he feels underappreciated and I believe that most of us can relate to that kind of feeling. He was banished to rule the underworld while his fellow gods frolic on Mount Olympus. It’s a bit tragic if you think about it, though I personally wouldn't try to overthrow Zeus. Maybe just fully lean into chaos mode.

Re: Which Disney Villain is your favorite?
Honestly, Hades is such a good Disney villain. The flair, the charisma, just everything about him is fun. I also really Scar from The Lion King. He not only had a cool villain song but he also was very manipulative and was able to control things with just a few sentences (also I am looking forwards to the new "live action" prequel to The Lion King about Mufasa and Scar as kids).
Another villain I like that at the time of the movie's release wasn't Disney but has since be acquired by Disney is Rasputin from Anastasia. I like him as a villain because he was just much more villainy than other villains in animated movies at the time in my opinion (which may also be biased because it's one of my favorite movies).
