Well, my story isn't really all that long, but here goes: In Gaelic I'm called Morag and I decided it was more interesting than my real name and McQueen is my mum's maiden name /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> I really like scottish names, so that's why I chose it...

Many Thanks to the wonderful Efie from SparkleissaInk for both Signature and Avatar.

My story is very boring. One day I was bored and on the Internet and saw that the HOL sign-up was open. I joined, but didn't really know I would have to pick a name. So I racked my brain and Kada Hardun was what I came up with. I don't really like my last name that much, but it doesn't really matter.

Finally getting around to looking around this forum properly /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> I've only been here 4 and a bit months after all!
Well, Maya just happens to be a name I've always liked and its a bit less common than my real first name too.
As for Winters, who knows, I tend to have an unimaginable lack of imagination when it comes to having to make things up on the spot, Winters didn't seem like too bad an idea, so I stuck with it.
Terribly exciting really, huh?! Suppose I could try to find some hidden meaning or something behind my choices but hey, its a Sunday!

Camilla is my Latin name. I take the wonderful language, and I got the name Camilla for my Latin name (note: no way similar to my real name). It's from The Aeneid. Camilla is an amazon warrior (a race of humans in which the women are the warriors, and the men stay at home). I love the name, and it seemed good.
I wanted a name different from names I knew. So I chose Loren.... I don't know why. Sounded cool.

I am a bit obsessed with actor Ralph Fiennes, so I used his first name (spelled Rafe when pronounced properly) and rearranged the letters in his last name so they'd come out backwards. It sounded cool to me, so I stuck with it /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Rokes I came up with that a bought a year ago. You see my middle name is Rose and my first name starts with a K so RoKse but that kind of looked funny so I switched the se to es making Rokes.
McVain is what my older sister thought because she thinks I am a little vain plus it just sounded good together.
So there is my name Rokes McVain

Well I wanted to come up with something different which is hard, since everyone has used so many of the names. A while back there was a day called "international Pirates day." I found out that my pirate name is Capt Bess Vane, so it seemed great for a first year Ravenclaw. You can all call me Bess though, argh! /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />

Everything happened very quickly when I signed up yesterday.
I have a acrylic paint right next to my notebook. I thought the word acrylic looked kind of nice. But I didn't wanted to have the name acrylic... so I changed some letters and finally it became Araclylor.
My first name Neeli just hitted me and I don't even why. It must have been magic /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Let's see...the name Regina has always been one of my favorites (it means "Queenly"), and Askew means "crooked," which I thought seemed appropriate, for a witch. It also seems to me that J.K. Rowling, when naming her characters, often gives them either an unusual first name with a normal last name, or a normal first name with an exotic last name, and I strived (strove?) to follow this pattern.
