Dear students,
September 1st has arrived, and with that the beginning of a new term! Hope you are ready to get your hands on caring all those animals we love and that we call pets.
Our first lesson is more like a brief introduction to the world of pets. Before studying in-depth information of each specific species, we learn the basics of pet care and its implications.
After reading the lesson, make sure to submit your assignment. A great collection of exercises is waiting for you, including coloring pages, a game, or art and writing projects for those creative minds.
Our first pet discussion is available as well. Tell us about your pets! Don't be shy and participate!
Remember that everything is due by the end of term, but if you want to send your homewrok earlier is fine as well!

Dear students,
I intended to write you this announcement way earlier this month, but things went crazy this first two weeks! Anyway, here it is!
Our second lesson is all about toads! Learn plenty of interesting stuff about them, including some superstitions, famous toads in media, and of course, how to take good care of your pet toad!
After reading the lesson, don't forget to do your assignment. A nice story written by Hans Christian Andersen is waiting for you to complete a puzzle or your creative projects. If you don't feel like reading Andersen, then you surely have other options to solve.
Don't forget to participate in our Second Pet Discussion, earn 10 House Points, and tell us why do you think toads are the least attractive kind of pets.
You still have time to complete your assignments since everything is due by the end of term, so let's continue working

This is just a quick announcement letting you know that all Care of Magical Pets work has been graded and points submitted. If you turned in an assignment and haven't replied to you, please let me know as soon as possible!
Please, also remember that the last day to send in any missing work is January 14th, so you still have around 10 days to finish your homework
Finally, remember that in order to pass the class and earn a quill you need to finish it with at least 180 points and submit the Final Exam. If you excell, you will certainly earn a couple of shiny awards by the end of term as well!
Hope you are fine and wishing you all a good closure of this first HOL Term!
