So, I've been talking with my step-sister who is watching the movies for the first time (she read the books when they first came out so its not totally a surprise to her, but she has forgotten a lot). She is on Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and got onto the subject of Horcruxes.
She asked me why Harry didn't die in the last film, or else why is Voldemort not still alive because Harry the Horcrux is still around.
Here is what I've always believed: 1. Voldemort's spell only killed the Horcrux in Harry and 2. Harry was the master of death. He was the true owner of the Elder Wand, he had the Invisibility Cloak, and he had the Resurrection Stone; all three Deathly Hallows.

Re: Harry the Horcrux
“But if Voldemort used the Killing Curse,” Harry started again, “and nobody died for me this time — how can I be alive?”Arianna Stonewater wrote: ↑Tue Sep 04, 2018 1:53 am So, I've been talking with my step-sister who is watching the movies for the first time (she read the books when they first came out so its not totally a surprise to her, but she has forgotten a lot). “He took my blood,” said Harry.
“Precisely!” said Dumbledore. “He took your blood and rebuilt his living body with it! Your blood in his veins, Harry, Lily’s protection inside both of you! He tethered you to life while he lives!”
- from Chapter 35, King's Cross
Basically, since Voldemort used Harry's blood to return to his physical body, and that blood had Lily's protection on it, it connected the two. The curse did kill the horcrux that was inside Harry.
I'm thinking when Harry dueled Voldemort, the Elder Wand refused to take the life of its owner, which was Harry, and did his bidding instead, which was Expelliarmus. When the wand came to Harry, Voldemort's curse landed on Voldemort.
