February – Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans

Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans are undoubtedly one of the most popular wizarding candies in the world. They were invented by accident by Bertie Bott and are similar to Muggle jelly beans. They are fun to eat as you never know whether to expect something ordinary, like chocolate or something nasty, like earwax.

They are marketed as “a risk with every mouthful”, but despite being every flavor, not all flavours in the world are present in the boxes. Your job is to make up a new taste that can be included in this treat. For easier reference, here are all known tastes in Harry Potter universe.

Here are some flavours of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans that have recently been tested. There are a couple food ones that resemble the real thing, such as carrot and pineapple. Taco and shrimp round out the food items in this handful of beans. Both sand and water are present, though there have been reports of the sand bean tasting more like garlic bread. The grey bean is supposedly smog. The similar looking purple bean is some type of perfume, likely lavender. Inanimate flavours include brick, football, sapphire, and peacock feather.

This is quite the assorted bunch, and they're not all food flavors!!

We have a lavender one, a ketchup & mustard one, a grass one, a seaweed one, a mud one, a mac & cheese one, a sand one, a cotton candy one, a drywall one, a cherry one, a saltwater one, and one we're pretty sure is soot flavored!

• Parchment (slightly dry but full of character)
• Clouds (airy but moist)
• Sunlight (side effect: may experience warm and fuzzy feelings)
• Leaves (unbeleafable taste)
• Waffles (tastes so good you'll waffle on)
• Mars (so good you'll be reaching for the stars)
• Ink (inkredible flavour)
• Lemon Poppyseed Muffin (a coffee shop in your mouth)
• Chai Latte (for when you're not ready to leave that coffee shop)
• Paint (worth good Monet)
• Bark (completely natural)
• Fireworks (a good way to end things off with a bang)
