Book Review - My Grandmother's Stories: A Collection of Jewish Folk Tales

Post by Hannah Lovegood »

Title: My Grandmother's Stories: A Collection of Jewish Folk Tales
Author: Adele Geras
Genre: Fiction (children's)

I liked all of the stories. The Golden Shoes was funny because the gold shoes got dirty, so he put on boots to cover them. But no one could see the gold shoes so he cut holes in the boots so people could see the shoes. But then the boots filled with mud because of the holes. The neighbor in The Tablecloth was horrible. She was trying to say the tablecloth was hers when it wasn't hers. Saving the Pennies was interesting. It was kind of funny how they both didn't want to do the pennies and thought that the other person was going to put in their pennies.
