Book Review - Because of Winn-Dixie

The story was about a dog and a girl. The dog was in the grocery store. The girl rescued him from the store owner who was going to take the dog to the pound. The girl said, “That's my dog!” And she named him the first thing that popped into her head, Winn-Dixie. The dog ran over to her. The girl took the dog everywhere and they had a party and Winn-Dixie hid from her not on purpose, just accidentally. They made friends with everybody in the entire book.

I did not like that the dog was ugly.
