To feel better and not feel the stress anymore I listen to my music (kpop- shame on me) and start to learn the dance to the songs.

If that doesn’t help or I don’t have that much time I start to read fantasy novels or fanfictions over topics I really enjoy.

I like to play with my dogs or listen to groups like R.E.M. or Guadalcanal Diaries. I also enjoy reading, which puts me right to sleep. I usually prefer biographies or true crime, but right now, I'm reading Anna Karenina. Not sure why i picked this one - I was with my brother in the ER and it stood out to me.

By reading books, playing trivia and personality quizzes, playing Town of Salem, taking classes on HOL, participating in activities on HOL, and answering discussions on HOL forums. : D.

I've got two primary ways to relieve stress. I love to play video games, so some of my mental stress goes away with that. But when I want to physically relieve stress as well, I usually do woodworking, which is one of my passions!

I also like to cook and bake, but I usually save that for when I'm stressed and hungry. I get two of my goals done with that. I'm no longer hungry or stressed.

So here's my step-by-step routine to relieve stress:

1. Slow tempo piano/violin/cello/harp/sitar/flute/tanpura, loud enough to be audible in the shower.
2. Warm shower.
3. A nice shave with warm water.
4. A mild perfume and some talcum powder after getting dressed.
4.5. During the summer, turn on the A.C. 40 minutes after the shower.
5. Light some mild incense sticks.
6. 20 minute meditation in front of the incense sticks, while the music is still playing.
7. Make myself a cup of Darjeeling tea and have it, one sip at a time.
8. Write an essay or poem, read a book, or play chess online.

By step 7, I start feeling really clam and at peace.

It may sound funny, but I do HOL tasks in order to relieve my stress!

I also spend a lot of time with my family, which in my opinion is the best thing to do in order to relax after a long stressful day.

I think the best method to release stress is to do physical jerks, it inсreases mood and makes me confident.

I usually look for a distraction, whether that's reading a book, (finally) working on some art, or just putting on some music and finding a chore to do. If I'm stressed, I will do all I can to forget about the stress...which usually ends up making the stress worse in the long run, but oh well.

I definitely relieve stress by logging in to Hogwarts Online. I do puzzles, read replies to threads and add my own, and will also probably get to do classes soon. I walk around sometimes to get my head cleared, and at the end of a long day, there are multiple hobbies I have to go to for relaxation. When I have a freer day, I like to read books, explore restaurants, travel (in case I have a long enough vacation which is quite rare for me), and laze around random googling or visiting various websites. I also do tarot readings sometimes (if I feel spiritually energetic enough to help others by providing psychic guidance), altruism is a good stress reliever if you are thinking why.
