Teaching a class?

Post by DaKeed Napper » Mon Jul 08, 2019 7:16 pm

After all, I hear there’s a sudden and unexpected vacancy in the Transfiguration Department… Who knows what else might happen?

How far into your years do you have to be to be able to teach a class or atleast try to?

If you check the Handbook there is a "classes" section with a "teaching" subsection. You can also check the "Class Applications Are Open!" topic from the beginning of the year though. Here is the info you're looking for though:
You must be at least 17 years old to become a Professor (though this is not the only criteria and whether you become one or not is exclusively the decision of the Head Office). Student Teachers can be younger. In both cases, you need to have been a member of HOL for at least 6 months.
