Department and Newspaper Staff Applications

Do you feel like helping out around the castle?
We’re looking to fill two staff positions: someone to help out around the Departments and someone to join the editorial team for the school newspaper. You'll be joining the existing staff, so you'll have someone with experience to show you the ropes.
You do not need to have been a staff member on HOL before but please make sure you provide plenty of detail in your application, so we know if you’re a good fit. You may apply for both positions .

Department Head
We’re looking for a creative, responsible and patient member for this role. You would need to come up with project ideas for both departments and moderate both areas to ensure that rules are being followed. This would involve reaching out to students to explain any moderation decisions you have to take (like removing a submission or a comment).

We’re looking for an enthusiastic member with a keen eye for detail and good knowledge of English. You would edit submissions, brainstorm theme ideas, help come up with new features for the paper, approve submission ideas and potentially help format the issues. You would also need to contact members about problems with their submissions.
