Re: Gaming Goals
My goals are very simple: try and gather my family at least once a month for a bunch of board games. Also, chickens are fairly good at defense and attack, especially if its a rooster that shall fly. Ther...

Re: 2018 FIFA World Cup
Yes, Portugal vs Spain will be quite an interesting match. Another match that could maybe interesting (at least in the first matchday) is Brazil vs Switzerland. I am rooting for Russia, England, and France (there's actually a funny story with this one) though I'm putting my bets on Germany winning. ...

Re: Deathly Hallows - Which one would you choose?
I would choose the cloak of invisibility because who doesn't want to be invisible? It's useful, and doesn't have any drawbacks. Plus it was the object of choice from the youngest brother (the smart brother) in the fairy tale.

I definitely have some favorites for "comfort watching" and even though most of them are Russian, I still have some favorites in English:

Harry Potter
Re: Classics
Personally I feel that "classics" are books that enlarge ones point of view or somehow teaches one something. Perhaps it's a book that is written well or is extremely useful to understand the time period. "Classics" are in a sense books that help a person a lot, that give them more wisdom or intelli...

Re: Signings, Readings and Launches, Oh My
Sky that is awesome that you’re having a sighning of your own book! Congratulations! I agree with Tarma on the stamp, it is an easy and fast method. Personally, I’ve been to one book sighning before. I was very little and we went to a children’s author book sighning in a town nearby. I don’t remembe...
