Re: Abandoned Books

(Reviving the topic for no good reason.) I don't remember the name of the last book I dropped, but I know it was a mashup of steampunk and magic, but for whatever reason, I had my brain mixed on the main male character and couldn't get into it. I'm sure I'll get it from the library again, since stea...

Re: Spring 2016 Introductions

Hello all, I'm Lavinia, or Nina for short. I'm a fifth year and cannot believe it. Time goes so quickly! I chose to take this class as I love mythology of all kinds, and Greek is no exception. I'm not sure i have a particular goal in taking this class, beyond expanding my current knowledge of Greek ...

Re: Sherlock BBC

Hehe, I hope it works for you Hope!

I really like the show, at least what I've seen of it. I'm terribly behind on it at the moment, being too caught up in catching up on other shows, but definitely love it.

Re: Doctor Who!

Well now that we've gotten a teaser and I've gotten to rewatch some of the episodes from season 8, I'm feeling much more optimistic about the new season. Alot of the things I had problems with, I've been able to get some new perspective of it and frankly, Peter Capaldi is excellent as the Doctor. I ...

I'm going to agree that Fey is a good way to describe Capaldi's doctor. All the same, I've been really enjoying him on board. I really like too, the similarities between him and Hartnell. I don't know if it's intentional or not, but with Capaldi being the first of a cycle, it makes a sort of poetic ...

My graphics card isn't the greatest so I'm not too terribly disappointed by the graphics. I'm disappointed by only five slots, but I'll work it out somehow. And yeah, the camera needs fixing and I miss the follow ability from GW1, I play with my parents, and my dad is a terrible speed demon, being a...

I've been confirmed for all of my classes but one, Norse Mythology. A friend of mine who is taking the same class, has also been not confirmed, so it's not because the Professor has heard I'm a royal terror and ran away. ;) But, I'm wondering, how long should I wait for a confirmation? And what shou...

It depends alot on how you like to play. If you really like doing urban living, and a real night life, then it's good. I did find myself getting frustrated with trying to find the 'hotspots' though. If you really alot more about raising a family and doing legacy type play, then it probably doesn't o...

Growing up, I listened to a pretty expansive group of music actually, though country probably made 85% of it. (This would be both country oldies like Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline, as well as then new 90's country hits.) Mom would also listen to 80's, some 70's, and 50's. Dad was more rock, which I di...

Adam Lambert's "If I had You"? This is a recent hit, but I don't know how popular it is, it's become one of my favorites though in the last few months since I first heard it. Trouble is a friend but trouble is a foe, oh oh And no matter what I feed him he always seems to grow, oh oh He sees what I s...

Yeah, I can't wait to get Sims Pets, either, I miss having pets for my sims, probably because I love my dog so much. I think Sims Generations added alot of great stuff to the social interactions, although I haven't had the time to really play with that as I like.
