Re: Hamilton!

OMG YES!!! I'm so obsessed too! I've listened to it at least like 20 times by now, and I still notice a new line each time. I was listening at work and started cracking up at "Should we honor our treaty, king louie's head? Uh do whatever you want, I'm super dead!" Tried to explain to my coworkers, n...

You don't seem to have an account on the roost, so just go ahead and make a new one :)

Re: Fall 2015 Introductions

Hello! I'm Arielle Lemoyne, 7th year Ravenclaw! The other classes I'm taking this term are Confronting Your Boggart, Disney Studies: The Classics, Famous Magical Equines, and Marvellous Musical Theatre - Act 1. In real life, I'm just starting a masters program in Natural Resources and Environmental ...

Re: Board games or video games

I love board games! My favorite is probably Clue. It's short enough that you can play a couple rounds each time, and I feel it gets better each tim as well. I just love mysteries, so I'm all about Clue! Another of my favorites is Spy Alley. It's kind of similar to clue, in that it involves secrecy a...

Re: Pitch Perfect

Ooo I'm very curious!! I wonder if it will still take place in a college setting but somehow the original characters will still play a role? Or if it will still focus on all the original characters and a singing group they form after college? Two years is a long time to wait!!

Re: Pitch Perfect

The first time I saw the first one, I absolutely hated it. I think it was because everyone had raved about it so much there was just no way it could ever live up to that. Or else I was just annoyed because my family was making me stay up past my bedtime to watch a movie so I was determined to be lik...

Re: What's the Latest Movie You've Watched?

I'd really like to see Inside Out - I've heard a lot of good things about it, and I'm glad to read two more recommendations! I think I'll put it on the top of my list :) The last movie I watched was Blackfish...I've been meaning to watch it for awhile and it was just as sad as I had expected. It was...

Re: Triwizard Tournament

Both HP and non-HP themes can be a lot of fun - I think what's important is that the theme is part of the name or description of the activity. If the activity is called "Triwizard tournament" people are going to expect something very similar to the tournament in HP. If the activity was called "Mytho...

Well I got the idea for Arielle from the Little Mermaid, which was always one of my favorite movies, but I liked the spelling better as Arielle (rather than Ariel). Lemoyne came from a street name, and I thought they sounded good together. Also, there aren't any other Lemoyne's on HOL, so I liked th...
