When I was about seven, my father saw the first Harry Potter book in the supermarket, and offered to buy it and read it to me. I shrugged and agreed, not really caring that much. Once he took it home, though, we both sort of forgot about it, and I didn't notice it again until about 8 or 9 months lat...

My favorite book is definately The Giver by Lois Lowry. It's a wonderful story and I've read it five times in the past year. I also enjoyed the two sequels, but not nearly as much as the first book.
