Sorry Star but just like the Hogwarts students in the Harry Potter series you'll need to wait until your Fifth Year. :)

I'm really looking forward to Pets, one of my favourite expansions from Sims 2. I hope they do a Seasons.

Only downside is my monitor blew up a few weeks ago and I can't afford a new one so I won't be playing Pets for a while.

Silde - you can play more than one family but has you switch families, the others can progress. I came back to one of my families and he had a kid (he was single!). There is an option to switch in the map view. I can't remember how to do it exactly though. I'm over the Sims 3, I find it quite boring...

Ooh NaNoWriMo. I have wanted to do this since I found out about it about four years ago. I've written a few short, short stories so I'm not sure how I'll go writing an average of 1666 words per day! Especially on work days. I even had a whole November off one year and didn't manage to start it. I th...

I went and got it the day it came out. I haven't been playing it as much as I thought I would. I'm not sure if that's because I've been busy doing other things or if I just don't like it THAT much. I really miss a lot of the items in the Sims 2 and the interactions. In the Sims 3 I find it really ha...

I brought the DVD the day before it came out officially (BIG W put them up early) and watched it when I got home. I had already read all four books, which I fell in love with but not as much as Harry Potter. I think the actors chosen were fairly good, though I agree with the comments on Rosalie to a...

I'll also add that Professors can reply to Ask a Prefect, student teachers cannot (unless they are a Prefect). Professors who earn points don't count towards the HOL cup but student teachers who earn points do. Student teachers don't really get any extra "privileges" except access to the Student Tea...

Claire, I've had a little search for you and the account you had when you were younger, with that email address you mentioned (except it may have been gmail) is Jessica Caley. Just post here if you would like that one deleted and an admin will take care of it. EDIT: Oops, some extra information has ...

Being a class assistant is a good way to see if you'll like running a class. Its not as easy as saying "I want to be an assistant". Many professors already have assistants and some don't need them. However, if they are looking for someone new, they will advertise on the forum. When that happens you ...

She gave the 6 remaining copies of Beedle the Bard to friends and important people in her life, that were there for her as she wrote Harry Potter. The 7th was the only one that went up for auction and probably the only one that the general public will get a chance to see. Its amazing how much it sol...

Elith, How long ago did you email the Professors asking to drop their class? Some professors are very busy with real life and looking after their classes so it can sometimes take a few days for action to be taken on anything. If it has been longer than a week, I suggest sending them a polite PM on t...

It is up to you which one you take. A full term class runs for the entire school year (September to June) whereas the one term classes only run for half the year, and will usually run twice. For example from September to January and then again from January to June. I hope that answers your question!...

When looking at class websites and hoping for the first lesson, keep in mind that a lot of teachers (myself included) don't link it/post it purely because in the past students have sent in the lesson without even being part of the class ... and sometimes before sign-ups have even begun! So that info...

We studied this movie in high school along with the Shawshank Redemption which is just fantastic. Other...

I've never heard of that book series but it does sound very interesting, it's not every day you hear about females pirates in stories!! What kind of audience would the book be aimed at? Is it light hearted comedy or a serious novel? It might be something I'll have to look into. I am always looking f...

I recently just finished reading a Janet Evanovich book. She writes a series about a female bounty hunter called Stephanie Plum. She currently has 12 books and just released a book called "Plum Lovin" which is a "in between numbers novel". It was a good, short read. These books are light hearted and...
