Re: Underrated Character Moments

I always think about in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows at Malfoy Manor when Draco pretended he couldn't recognize Harry. It was such a tiny act of bravery yet it was still obvious that it was deliberate because he wanted to rebel in any safe way he could. And that moment also saved Harry from ...

Re: Whats Your Favorite Movie Genre?

I love watching romantic comedies, those just make me feel happy and bubbly inside! I also have a guilty pleasure for movie musicals (Last Five Years, My Fair Lady, etc) and fantasy movies (like Stardust and, of course, the Harry Potter franchise!)

Re: Spotlighted Book: The City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau

I feel like learning the everyday tasks and life really helps the reader understand the world better. Like in the beginning of the book when Lina is worrying about her job assignment that she'll have forever, that worldbuilding of how their society is set up has always stuck with me. Having everyone...

Re: Dungeons & Dragons

I'm in my second campaign at the moment (I got addicted after listening/watching shows like Dimension 20 and The Adventure Zone ). Our current game is set in fantasy space and there are a lot of horror aspects. My character is a Gnome wizard named Sofia Ashtoreth Thrust, although she goes by Ash. Sh...

Good Omens was amazing, and I really hope His Dark Materials measures up as well! I'm also looking forward to the TV adaptation of Looking For Alaska by John Green.

Re: Seasonal Treats

I love hot apple cider (especially when something strong is added :P ). Some of my favorite fall memories consists of getting a huge group of friends together to exchange gifts or during Friendsgiving and making a huge vat of hot apple cider. You just add some cloves, a cinnamon stick, and an anise ...

Re: Devastation in Harry Potter

I remember having to reread Fred and Colin Creevey's deaths, because I could simply not process that it happened. Also, Cedric's death hit me very hard since it was the first death of a character after we had really gotten to know them.

Re: Dream Merch?

I would love to have a Pygmy Puff. In the 6th book, it felt like a less scary Furby that could move on it's own. Also I would love to have a miniature Hungarian Horntail or Krum that could move on it's own (from Goblet of Fire), and fit on the palm of my hand. If any of these merch existed as a plus...

Re: Class Introduction!

Hi everyone, I'm Phoenix Hale! My most memorable memory with my family was at a family reunion when I was four. We were at my late Great-Aunt's house somewhere in the Northeast, and I was super excited because it was the first time I would be swimming somewhere other than a public pool. I was able t...
