After having read Dead Beat ...and then realizing it was the newest book in a pre-existing series, I've gone and found the (6) books of the Dresden Files series. I absolutely love Jim Butcher's writing style and how Harry Dresden seems to be a more grown-up (and more urban) version of Harry Potter....

Time to add a couple more to this list of artists to recommend: Deep Dish is a DJ duo that do their own albums, but also mix songs for quite a few mainstream Pop artists.
