Re: Favorite Type Of Music
I have a lot of favorite types of music or specific songs from different genres that I like. I do like alternative rock and indie rock mostly.

Re: Favorite Songs
I've been listening to Zombie, the Bad Wolves version on repeat for the past few days. It's made my favorites playlist. There's also Where's My Love by SYML and The Light by Disturbed.

Re: Advice Books
Working in the clinical social work field, I read a lot of books by others in the field. One of my favorite authors is Brene Brown. My favorite book by her is Daring Greatly, and I read it on recommendation from my clinical supervisor and immediately became a super fan of hers including watching all...

I haven't seen this, but I think I would be interested. Always looking for new stuff on Netflix. I've been getting into more fantasy shows as of late even if anime has always been on my radar and a lot of that is fantasy based. The magic system interests me as does the plot itself. I'll have to give...

Re: NFL Football 2018
I was raised watching the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers. My dad is a bears fan while my step-dad is a packers fan. Those two can't be in the same room during football season. I try to stay neutral and cheer for whichever team is winning. It isn't the best way to do it, but I rarely watch f...

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender
I liked the original show. I haven't been able to watch Legends of Korra yet. I heard about it when it came out. The live-action movie was awful. If I hadn't seen the original show, it may have been okay standing by itself. I'm hesitant to say that. I'll check out the Netflix version when it release...

Re: Dungeons & Dragons
I played with a group back in undergrad. We would gather in one of the study rooms at the school for a club meeting because it was an official club, and we'd play. The roleplaying aspect is what drew me to it. Plus most of the ones playing were also friends of mine that I played World of Warcraft wi...

Re: Xbox 360
I had an Xbox 360, but when backwards compatibility became available on the Xbox One, which I have too, I sold my 360. The games I wanted were available on Xbox One. I've since upgraded to the One X as a Christmas present for myself and gave the other to a family member. The 4K experience is amazing.

Re: Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery – A New Mobile Game!
I love RPs! I didn't know a Harry Potter game was coming out. I played the first ones on console years ago. I'm not a fan of mobile games, but I'll look at this one. I'd like being a student and seeing what the plot is this time.

Re: Online Roleplaying Games
I love roleplaying games, especially MMORPGs. I still play World of Warcraft, and it is my top. I used to play League of Legends, but it didn't hold my interest for long. Runescape was one of the first games I played many, many years ago. The Old Republic was fun when it first came out, but I grew b...

Re: Favorite Dr. Seuss Book
I didn't read much Dr. Seuss, but I do remember visiting the doctor once and my mom reading Green Eggs and Ham to me. I kept arguing that eggs weren't green, they were yellow and white. She stopped reading the book. The Cat in the Hat I liked. The movie, too.

Re: Spring 2018 Introductions
Hello, I am Astaria, but please call me Asta. I am a third year Hufflepuff, should be fourth but forgot about HOL last year when I started my first year of grad school in RL where I study social work. I love quidditch but unfortunately cannot play on HQT due to the game times. I do clinical stuff on...

Re: Board games or video games
Board games are definitely fun, and my group of friends and I will get together to have game nights. However, we find ourselves meeting online in video games more with our weird schedules. We get together to play Dungeons and Dragons maybe once a week and sometimes card games, but D&D is always the ...

I am so happy to see this topic on here even if it's a few years old. I also play world of warcraft. Some friends and I are dressing up as heroes from the game for a halloween party we're going to, and I'm going as Tyrande Whisperwind. I play both alliance and horde, I main alliance night elf discip...

Re: Which Disney Animated Film Is The Best?
I have two favorite Disney movies right now and both are about believing in yourself, Mulan and Frozen. I hear a lot of people nowadays hating on Frozen, which is fine, it did get a huge hype, but the story itself is great. I love that in the end, the girl wasn't saved by the boy. In fact, in a way,...

Re: HOL 101 Spring 2015 Introductions
Hello everyone! This is really late. I'm Astaria Rivers, but I prefer Asta. I found out about HOL through a friend that was once a member. I think she may have graduated or doesn't come on anymore or something. :( I am currently taking Flying, History of Magic and Mathematics: Arithmancy the Muggle ...
