Re: What Classes Do You Want To See Happen This Year Coming Up?

Great news - I am actually planning a Durmstrang Exchange class (so planning to offer Beauxbatons during Spring terms and Durmstrang during Fall terms - of course, subject to approval!) I agree though, classes on the newest schools would be super awesome (especially given the new Ilvermorny stuff ou...

The 100

I just started watching this TV show two weeks ago and I'm nearly caught up, and dying to talk about it! Does anyone else watch The 100? What do you think? The easiest way for me to describe it is a mix of Lost (though I've never watched Lost... <_<?) and The Lord of the Flies with a sort of dystopi...

Re: Favorite Musicals

I've not seen many musicals and have never worked in one, but the high school I went to was known for performing arts, so I always went to the student shows to support my friends who were in them. My all-time favourite was definitely Phantom of the Opera! Not only did I love the story and the songs,...

Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Eragon, and.... hmm... I'll have to go with The Divided Realms series, written by Maggie L. Wood.

As Lori said, I haven't seen everything that's been suggested, but here're my "two cents": I would highly recommend anything written by John Green. The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky is my favourite novel of all time, so I recommend that. It's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini is ...

I definitely agree with everyone who says it's kind of difficult to find the time between school, extracurriculars, etc >.>. Between school work, HOL, and the volunteering I do, reading has sadly been something I've done less and less. BUT, I definitely still read quite frequently. I would say I end...

I've an answer to your question Barbara, but I'm putting spoiler tags on it just in case some people want to figure out the mechanics by themselves (though I don't think it really spoils anything, but just in case) You actually need to go to the surface before you're able to get the net, so you're o...

I recently picked this up with a giftcard that I got for Christmas, and I have to say that (like most Legend of Zelda games) I fell in love quite quickly. I'm still a little wary of the changes from the other Zelda games I've played, but so far I still really love the game. The graphics are outstand...

I'm a little suspicious about two accounts that look quite similiar. Amelia Hartley, am1129, first year Gryff and Arianna Hartley, ar1104, also a first year gryff. They're taking the 5 classes, but 3/5 are the exact same, their first names are similiar, their profiles' "about me" are very similiar, ...

*waves at her fellow teammates* Hi everyone! I'm Ivelisse, a second year badger here at HOL. I joined last September, but during first term I wasn't very active and scraped by xD. Second term I became more active and involved in things, and over the summer my activity level has exploded. I am now a ...

I feel that people probably pronounce my name wrong xD. Especially my last name, which I presume people read as "A-duh".

Mine's pronounced eve-uh-lease add-uh, and the nickname "Ive" is pronounced like the word "live" (as in, "I live in this house," not as in "live from Chicago") without the L.
